Precision Wire Components recently opened the doors of a 15,000 SF medical wire component manufacturing facility in San Jose, Costa Rica. The new facility began production in December 2008, and offers many of the same core services as our U.S. headquarters, including:
• Centerless (Manual) Grinding
• Cylindrical (Special) Grinding
• Assembly
• Wire Straightening
• Flattening, Forming
• Coil Winding
Fully validated equipment was transferred from PWC US to the new facility, and all initial Costa Rican employees underwent 6 months of rigorous training at our US Headquarters. As a result, the facility quickly achieved ISO 13485 certification and customers can expect the same high quality products and services that have made PWC a world leader in medical wire component manufacturing.
