HISTORY
Precision Wire Components was founded on ingenuity and commitment, qualities that still drive the company today.
In early 1996, Chuck Trover and Brian Kirby believed they could make a real contribution in the medical wire component market. After interviewing medical device OEMs throughout the U.S., they formed a start-up company exclusively dedicated to the medical industry. Chuck brought years of expertise in operations and management while Brian provided technical experience in metallurgy, machine design, and manufacturing processes. Within a month, Bob Condie signed on to develop a quality control system that quickly earned ISO 9002 certification from the prestigious British Standards Institute. Working seven days a week for months on end, they managed to produce the company's first products by October.
From this foundation of dedicated people, PWC has rapidly grown to what it is today: a large and hard-working team of successful medical wire component specialists, with a rapidly growing list of satisfied customers!
