Q: How can I increase the tip flexibility in guidewires? A: Our metallurgical expert can help develop custom stress relieving processes to improve flexibility. Also, the flexibility of the wire can be adjusted by flattening, coil spacing, or by utilizing optimal materials. We can help you determine what will work best for your application.
Q: What is the minimum quantity I can order? A: PWC has no minimum order quantity. However there is a minimum lot charge per order, depending on the type of processing utilized.
Q: What types of wire materials are available? A. 302/304VSS, 302SS, 316LVM, High Tensile Strength, 17-7PH Stainless, Nickel-Titanium, Platinum alloys, Tungsten, Molybdenum, MP35N, 316LVM and other alloys.
Q: How quickly can I get my finished product shipped? A: Depending on the processes required for the parts and the part complexity, lead-times typically vary from 1- 4 weeks.If lead-time is a constraint and your order is less than 100 pieces, please consider our EXPRESS Short-Run Center (SRC). We created the SRC as a separate factory-within-a-factory dedicated to make and ship product within days.
Q: What if I don’t know what I want yet? A: Our Research and Development (R&D) department can provide technical advice to help develop your design. Our R&D Manager will freely assist your team until your product is developed. Please contact our R&D Team when any need arises – whether you are developing new products or the next-generation of existing products.
Q: How fast can I get a quote? A: You will receive a quote within 24 hours. On rare occasions, a quote may take longer depending on the complexity of the part. EXPRESS Short-Run Center (SRC) quotes are even faster.
Q: If time is a constraint, can you help me with product validation? A: Yes. We have a validation process in place that can be customized to fit your particular needs.
